My name is Laraine White,  I am a Teddy Bear Artist living in
Wellington,  New Zealand,  and I love making handmade collectible bears.
I have been making bears for some years,  but have only been
designing my own since 2003.   The bears I make range in size from
5 inches to 7 inches. However, I mainly make bears that are 5 inches.
Each bear is made with thought and attention to detail and
craftsmanship,  using the finest German mohair and German glass eyes.               
My bears feature some needle sculpting and shading.  They also
tend to have large feet and tummys.   I use different embellishments
for that finished look on my bears.   Some have keys  or charms
around their necks and some have knitted or crochet hats.
I have made some wonderful friends that are both collectors and artists.
